Is your support 24x7?

Can I upgrade to another service if I need to?

Yes,you can upgrade at any time the need arises. You can contact our Support center for more help when you are ready to.

Do I need to transfer my domain to you?

Our Domain pricing is highly affordable, you get a much cheaper price with us than at other registrars. But it is possible to host with CloudHost and still maintain your domains at any registrar of your choice.

Can I get root access?

No, root access is not available on our shared hosting plans. If you require root access with your hosting, werecommend you purchase a dedicated server.

Will my account be backed up?

We carry out automatic backup on a daily basis for all accounts. You can restore files directly from these backups via your control panel, as well as initiate on-demand snapshots of their account.

The automated backups are purposely for  the purposes of full server restoration, and as per our terms, we do not guarantee the availability of these backups

Do I need a domain name to have a website?

Absolutely, if  you want to set up a website, you will need a domain name. Some people set up free blogs or other types of sites using a domain name that belong to a third-party service like WordPress.com or Tumblr. but if you want to build an online presence, you need to have a domain name.

How long is my domain name valid?

You can register your domain name for 1-10 years. If you select 1 year, you will need to renew your domain name annually in order for it to remain valid. If you select multiple years, your name will remain valid until that time expires.

How long will it take to register my domain name?

It takes a couple of minutes to register your domain name. Just ensure you fill out the registration form correctly.

Does your hosting come with a control panel?

Sure, it does.  All our  hosting plans come packed with the world’s number one control panel, cPanel.

How long does it take to set up a new account?

Once payment is made, your account will be set up immediately. You will receive an email and instructions on how to get started a few minutes after payment has been made. No delay, whatsoever.

How secure are your servers?

Very secured. You do not have anything to worry about. Your data is secured with us. we constantly run a backup to ensure no data loss.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, bank transfer and PayPal. We do not support automated recurring billing via PayPal so if you are paying month-to-month we would strongly recommend using a credit or debit card.

Can I install software into my account?

Yes, you may set up any software that runs on PHP/MySQL

What billing cycles do you offer?

You can pay monthly or for yearly, up to 3 years up front. If you decide to pre-pay, we give you some great discounts on our ongoing pricing.

Do I need multiple domain names?

Often times, it is better to focus your brand-building efforts on a single domain name. Most especially if you are just starting to build an online presence for yourself or your organization, trying to build on multiple domain names can spread your efforts too thin.

Can I sell my domain name that I registered?

Yes, once you have registered the domain name, it is yours to sell or do what you want with, provided all the required fees are paid and you are not likely to breach of any law.

What happens if I don't renew my domain name by the expiration date?

Most times, if you do not renew your domain nameWithin 3-14 days after expiration.  The domain name will be removed from the name servers (DNS) which will interrupt any services such as Email, Website hosting, or URL Forwarding. For certain registries, approximately 30 days after the domain name expires it will enter into a redemption period. During the redemption period, you can still renew your domain name, but there is an additional redemption fee which includes a one year renewal. If the domain name is not redeemed during the redemption period, the domain name will be deleted by the registry and made available for registration.
