Creating a database in cPanel using the MySQL Database wizard is the fastest and easiest way. Using the wizard, you can create both the database and a user for that database easily. I will quickly\u00a0guide you through a\u00a0two step process to create a database and also assign\u00a0user(s).<\/p>\n

Creating the database user<\/h2>\n

  1. Open Client Area <\/a>and SignIn<\/li>\n
  2. Locate the Databases icon from your main cPanel page and click on the MySQL Databases icon.

  3. You will be taken to the Wizard Page where you can choose a name for your new database. In this case, the new database will be newdb<\/em> which has the cPanel\u00a0username has its prefix “dnxwwppw<\/em>“.

    4.\u00a0Type in the Username<\/strong> of the User<\/em> you want to assign to the database and fill both Password<\/strong> and Password (Again)<\/strong> fields. \u00a0In this case, the Username is “Test”.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    5.Click the Create User<\/strong> button to complete the database user creation.<\/p>\n

    You can also choose to click the checkbox for ALL PRIVILEGES.<\/strong> Selecting individual privileges is a customization for advanced users.<\/p>\n
