In cPanel you can use the Raw Access Logs<\/strong> feature to see the traffic to your website, before it is turned into a report by statistics software. This can be very useful when you need to see who is accessing your site quickly and knowing the type of requests your site is getting. This is also very useful when you need someone to look at your web statistics, but you do not want to give that person your cPanel login. You can use the Raw Access Logs feature to download a zipped version of the server’s access log for your site.<\/p>\n

To configure a raw access log<\/h3>\n

This can be done in the Configure Logs<\/em> section. The section allows you to configure cPanel to automatically archive logs and when to automatically delete them.\"configure\"<\/a><\/p>\n

  1. Select the\u00a0Archive logs in your home directory at the end of each stats run<\/strong>\u00a0box to save archived logs into the\u00a0\/home<\/code>\u00a0directory each time the system processes your website’s statistics.<\/li>\n
  2. Select the\u00a0Remove the previous month’s archived logs from your home directory at the end of each month<\/strong>\u00a0box to remove the previous month’s logs at the end of each month.<\/li>\n
  3. Click\u00a0Save<\/strong>\u00a0to store your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To view your raw access log<\/h3>\n

    You can view your raw access log under the Download Current Access Logs<\/strong> section. This section lists the domains on your account and all the log information.\"download\"<\/a><\/p>\n
