ModSecurity is an Apache module that helps to protect your website from various attacks. It is used to block certain types of web requests thereby helping to prevent possible attacks.\u00a0 However, on some occassions, legitimate requests may be blocked by ModSecurity, so having the knowledge of how to disable it is advisable. The ModSecurity interface on cPanel allows you to enable or disable ModSecurity for your domains. In this article, you will be shown how to disable ModSecurity for a domain from cPanel.<\/p>\n

How to disable ModSecurity<\/h3>\n

  1. Log into your cPanel account.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to the Security<\/em> section and click on the ModSecurity<\/strong> icon under it.\"Screenshot<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. The ModSecurity Domain Manager<\/strong> interface will be displayed.<\/li>\n
