\"images\"<\/a>To manage your FTP accounts, you can make use of the FTP accounts table. There are various operations you can carry out using this interface. You can change password or quota and some other simple operations.<\/p>\n

Change Password<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can change the password for your FTP account by following the steps below.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log into your cPanel account<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Locate the FTP Accounts<\/strong> icon under the Files section and click on it.\"ftp\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  3. You will be directed to a new page where\u00a0you will see the list of FTP accounts. Under the account you wish to change password, click on the\u00a0Change Password <\/strong>icon.\"change<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. On the newly loaded page, fill in the new password you wish to use.\"change<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. You can now click on the Change Password<\/strong> button. Your password has been changed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Change Quota<\/strong><\/p>\n

    You can also change the disk space quota used by a user. Simply:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Click on the FTP Accounts<\/strong> icon under the Files section.<\/li>\n
    2. Locate the account for which you want to change quota and click on the Change Quota<\/strong> button.\"change<\/a><\/li>\n
    3. A setup page will be displayed.\u00a0\"change<\/a><\/li>\n
    4. Here, you will fill in the disk space quota or you can decide to go with the Unlimited<\/strong> FTP quota.<\/li>\n
    5. Now, click on Change Quota<\/strong> and you are done.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Deleting an account<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Now, that is not all you can do using the FTP Account table. You can also delete an FTP account from your cPanel account.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Click on FTP Accounts<\/strong> icon once again under the File section.<\/li>\n
      2. Navigate to the account you wish to delete and click on the the\u00a0<\/span>Delete<\/strong>\u00a0icon.<\/span>

      3. Two options will be displayed as shown.

        \nIf you select Delete Account<\/strong>, only the account is removed. But if you choose Delete Account and Files<\/strong>, the account and all the files related to it will be deleted. You should be warned that if you select the latter, the files in the FTP folder will be deleted and can only be recovered with backup.<\/li>\n
      4. \u00a0You can now click on the option you wish to use and the account will be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Configure FTP Client<\/strong><\/p>\n

        You can configure your FTP client using the following steps:<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Open the FTP Accounts<\/strong> under the Files section.<\/li>\n
        2. Click on Configure FTP Client<\/strong> under the desired account.\"confi\"<\/a><\/li>\n
        3. On the drop down screen, you will see some FTP client logos.\"confi2\"<\/a>Click on FTP Configuration File\u00a0<\/strong>under the desired FTP client’s logo.<\/li>\n
        4. Once this is done, the configuration script fiile will be downloaded on your computer.<\/li>\n
        5. Open it and the FTP client opens automatically, configures itself and connects to your FTP server.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
